Aww... little bummed there isn't a new quest today, but at least that gives me some more time to run the other characters though

NO *yawn*
Except for the kd skill - is fun the first few mobs... kd laugh in their face and run along, gets very boring after that

Morale won't increase your HP -- I haven't tried the Skalefin Soup for the whole 1 pip of regeneration it gives. Has anyone used an armor of salvation to see if the pip of regen works on it?

Just ran it(no consumables) on a level 5 Necro with starter armor(AR 5) and no weapons or offhand. The only things that hit me were the Obsidian Behemoths, but they were hitting 65s. They were attacking much more frequently when no weapon or a wand or staff was equipped. I think they were critical hits, given the difference in level and the fact that I was "fleeing." I was too busy to check the animation, and TexMod was not loaded. Quest reward jumped the character 3 levels.

Finished it with my Dervish last night (with a essence of Celerity) and this afternoon with my Ele, other characters forthcoming. :P
The only odd thing I noticed was that the behemoths didn't attack my Dervish at all, no matter what I did to them. This afternoon they were really aggressive about going after my Ele though.
:edit:
Special thanks s73ve o that suggested Tab (after I remapped it to Numpad 0 so the command isn't accessible only on the shady side of my keyboard), and Blaze Thirteen for his video that helped quite a bit as well!

Pretty sure it has to do with what weapon you have equiped. Melee weapons will cause bohemoths to use Whirling Defense and lay traps, where as staves I believe make them attack you.

If the Mad King's Guard Miniature is dropping anywhere it would be miraculous, because no member of the development team has enabled this functionality for that mini.
The Mad King's Guard Miniature is not dropping anywhere in the world. You cannot obtain it through killing monsters or completing quests. The Mad King's Guard Miniature is being introduced as a prize for the Halloween Art Contest of 2009. At this time, there is no other way to obtain it.

I think the question is, if you won one through the art contest - would it be a white, purple, gold, or green item in your inventory?

That's interesting, I didn't realize the AI could adapt that way. Should make playing it through on my other casters easier than on my Ele then. Thanks!

The clarification was not just for the person who asked the question. I've been receiving messages about where it is supposedly dropping and seeing people spread rumors that they can get it in-game by killing things. So I just wanted to clarify for everyone's benefit.
Whether it's a green, gold, white, etc.---I don't have that info right now. I contacted the designer in charge of it for that info.

Monster AI adapts in many ways based on your equipped weapon. If you know that behavior, you can manipulate the AI. For example, Banished Dream Riders are less likely to Empathy you if you have a wand or staff, but if you're the only target, they have nothing better to do.

Target dead threshers first for iwin. If you target collectors first, the threshers have a chance to stack degen. You can still stop them if you're quick, but it's just safer to take the more dangerous mob out first.

Honestly, if you're trying to take enough time to scan through their names, you're either wasting time or putting yourself in danger of not seeing something else important.
Target whatever's in front first and then move on to whatever's in back.

agreed with Shayne. The KD has a 1 second recharge, and their long-casting curses are longer, so as long as you cast on recharge on everything that enters your aggro bubble, you should be fine

If you're getting hexed already, then you're already taking too much time. Might as well use that time productively.
That, and doing it that way didn't slow me down - for some reason, perhaps lag or something, my second, third, fourth sugar shocks wouldn't always fire, so I'd hit the most dangerous mob first.
